“The Perfume Park” was created by Italian scientists in collaboration with the Lazarus family from Cyprus and recreates an ancient complex where olive oil was produced, metallurgy was practiced, and essential oils and perfume compositions were created.

ITALIAN archaeologists have found the world’s oldest perfumes on Cyprus. The Park is between Korakou and Flasou, in the region of Nicosia and all you hear while you are there are the melodies of the birds. It is a large-scale project that aims to create a space in which various techniques for the production of perfumes are presented from antiquity to the present, giving visitors the opportunity to learn the history of Cypriot perfumery and harvest the botanical material from the environment. There are several packages that offer you many creative activities. The tour guide will tell you a lot about how the ancients produced perfumes, and even how an experiment is done. After breakfast will be at Kolossi Castle, it is fascinating to explore this three-story castle and get a feel of medieval history. Next, we will visit the ancient city of Kourion, archaeological Site with its famous, Greco-Roman Theatre. At a stunning location overlooking the sea, we will visit the Sanctuary and Temple of Apollon Hylates.
Our next stop will be at Aphrodite’s Birthplace where you will be able to enjoy a coffee break
and see the beautiful coastline were the Goddess of Love was born. Arriving at Pafos, we will visit the famous Mosaics which are part of the Archaeological Park. We will see the House of Dionysus, a villa of a Roman nobleman, with amazing floor mosaic scenes from Greek Mythology.
At the Pafos Harbor area, you will have free time. Enjoy a stroll along the vibrant promenade and have lunch at one of the many attractive cafes or restaurants. On our return to Limassol we will visit Geroskipou Village to taste famous Cyprus delights – Loukoumia.
